Preparations

My trip to Brazil is approaching, but there's still a lot to do! As you can see above, I've been busy learning Portuguese, as well as planning details of the trip. A few days ago, we bought the first set of plane tickets... Date of Departure is October 16th! Other important planning details include getting vaccinated as well as making sure I have all the right equipment to take on the Brazilian and Peruvian Rainforests.

Additionally, it's college application season! I'm entering into the world of personal essays, test score requirements, and application fees. The goal is to have all applications completed and submitted by the time I board the plane to Brazil. Going to college seems a bit surreal, especially since I am in Germany with my grandparents... The real world seems far away and irrelevant. However, as long as I keep my goals in sight and my nose on the grindstone, all will be well.
