August 12, 2019: Fly to Germany. In Germany, intensively study Portuguese and begin college application process and planning trip to Brazil.
September 19th: Return to Davis. Finish applying for colleges, complete last minute planning for Brazil.
October 16, 2019: Fly to Brazil.
October 18, 2019: Volunteer at Iracambi for two months.
December 12, 2019: Travel to Vitoria by bus, spend 4 days surfing and exploring the city.
December 17, 2019: Travel to Serra Grande, work at Fazenda OuroVerde in exchange for lodging and Capoeira classes with Mestre Cabello and Mestra Tisza.
February 8, 2020: travel to Peru, volunteer with the Alliance for Research and Conservation in the Amazon (ARCAmazon) at the Las Piedras Amazon Center (LPAC) on the Amazon Basin Research and Conservation Programme from February 10th to March 8th. Spend 2 weeks on Forest Ranger Programme, 2 weeks on Mammal Conservation Programme.
March 8 to 15, 2020: Travel in Peru on my own.
March 14, 2020: Fly to Bloomington, Indiana to visit Nina and Indiana University.
March 19, 2020: Fly home to Davis early due to Covid-19.
July 1, 2020: Start remote internship with Galileo.
August 3, 2020: Start the Freshman Summer Start Program (FSSP) at UCSB remotely, living at home.
October 1st: Start Fall Quarter remotely at UCSB, living in an apartment in Davis.
January 3, 2021: Move to Isla Vista near UCSB, start Winter Quarter online. Intern with Your Children's Trees and Coal Oil Point Reserve doing restoration.
March 29, 2021: Start Spring Quarter at UCSB online. Intern with Your Children's Trees.
June 26, 2021: Fly to Germany, landing in Zürich.
July 1 to September 14, 2021: Intern at BUND Naturschutzzentrum Westlicher Hegau in Gottmadingen, Germany.
September 14 to 19, 2021: Visit family in Germany.
September 19, 2021: Fly home to Davis.
September 23, 2021: Start my 2nd year at UCSB, living in Manley Co-op.
